Mid-September rainouts, cancellations
Among non-national touring Dirt Late Model special and sanctioned events rained out, postponed or cancelled Sept. 13-15 (among other changes); rescheduled date added unless no makeup date was immediately announced:
Paducah: Saturday's MARS-sanctioned USA World 50 at Paducah (Ky.) International Raceway rained out; online ticket refunds will begin Monday.
Batesville: Saturday's Titan Legends Late Model Series event at Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Ark., rained out.
Two Dollar Pistol: Comp Cams Super Dirt Series officials cancelled Friday's $5,000-to-win event at Two Dollar Pistol Speedway in Plumerville, Ark., because of rain.
Waycross: Facing poor weather amid Hurricane Francine, Crate Racin' USA Series and Waycross (Ga.) Motor Speedway officials cancelled the weekend's two-day, $10,000-to-win event.
Harris: Saturday's GM Perfomance 602 Series event at Harris Speedway in Rutherfordton, N.C., rained out.
Toccoa: Saturday's $10,000-to-win Steven Wragg Memorial rained out; the Limited Late Model event, also rained out Sept. 1, was rescheduled for Oct. 12.
Lavonia: Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series officials cancelled Friday's $10,000-to-win return to Lavonia (Ga.) Speedway because of an unfavorable forecast and expected rain from Hurricane Francine.
