Spring and Southern Nat'ls slates released
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 13) — Seven tracks in four states will play host to both of Ray Cook’s Schaeffer’s Oil-sponsored tours as he released a 14-race Schaeffer's Spring Nationals slate and 12-race Schaeffer's Southern Nationals schedule Friday at the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show. | 2025 Spring Nationals schedule | 2025 Southern Nationals schedule
Four Georgia tracks (Swainsboro Raceway, Senoia Raceway, Blue Ridge’s Sugar Creek Raceway and Chatsworth’s North Georgia Speedway) appear on both schedules along with two Tennessee ovals (Tazewell Speedway and Sweetwater’s I-75 Raceway) and Beckley (W.Va.) Motor Speedway.
Additional Spring Nationals events are set for two Alabama tracks (Clanton’s Buckshot Speedway and Phenix City’s East Alabama Motor Speedway), two Kentucky tracks (Burnside’s Lake Cumberland Speedway and Mount Vernon’s Rockcastle Speedway) as well as Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Ga., and Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tenn.
Additional Southern Nationals events are planned for Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Va., Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn., Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Ga. and Toccoa (Ga.) Raceway (the site for a July 21 Southern Nationals event will be announced at a later time).
Fourteen five-figure paydays are up for grabs between the tours, including a $21,000-to-win event at Tazewell and $15,053-to-win event at Beckley, both on the spring circuit.
Both tours pay $10,053 to the series champion along with four more points fund positions ($5,053, $3,053, $2,053 and $1,553); other drivers with perfect attendance receive $1,053. The Southern Nationals Rookie of the Year pays $1,000 for first and $500 for second.
