SAS announces 16-race schedule in '25
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 13) — The latest era of the Coltman Farms Southern All Star Series launches next month with new series co-owner Ray Cook announcing a 16-race schedule at 13 tracks in five states, with plans to add eight more events on the tour recently purchased by Cook and other investors. | 2025 Southern All Stars schedule
In the schedule announced at the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show, the series founded by Hall of Famer B.J. Parker in 1983 plans two races apiece at 191 Speedway in Campton, Ky., Sugar Creek Raceway in Blue Ridge, Ga., and I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tenn., which hosts the tour’s previously announced opener on Jan. 25.
First-time series tracks are Winder-Barrow Speedway in Winder, Ga., on April 12 and Wartburg (Tenn.) Speedway on Sept. 13. The series also ends lengthy absences at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky., which last hosted the series in 1984, and Lavonia (Ga.) Speedway, the first since 2010.
The series plans to repeat its dirt-cars-on-asphalt event at Anderson (S.C.) Motor Speedway on Sept. 19, an event held in 2024.
Besides Anderson, tracks on the initial schedule with single races: Buckshot Speedway in Clanton, Ala., Penton (Ala.) Raceway, North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Ga., Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Ky., and Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway.
Cook plans to add eight more races but doesn’t have tracks confirmed yet for March 21-22, May 26-17, June 13, July 5 and the season-ending Oct. 10-11 weekend.
