What won the race: Overcoming mechanical trouble that set him back early in the program, Logan Martin of West Plains, Mo., rallied from 14th to win Saturday’s Turkey Bowl XIV at Springfield Raceway. Martin outran eighth-starting Kaeden Cornell for a $4,000 victory.
Key notes: Martin was leading his heat when he broke a driveshaft and transmission. He started ninth in the second consolation and finished second to earn the 14th starting spot in the feature. … Repeating his 2019 Turkey Bowl victory, Martin has now won the event three times.
