Bailes went on to his first Ultimate Southeast triumph of 2021 and the ninth of his career, putting him a four-way tie for fourth on the tour's all-time win list. ... Bailes's last Ultimate Southeast successes came on Nov. 6-7, 2020, when he won at Lancaster (S.C.) Speedway and Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, N.C. ... Fayetteville, N.C.'s Ethan Wilson's runner-up finish was his best ever on the series. ... The A-main lasted 23 minutes with eight competitors completing all 40 laps. ... On the move: Doug Sanders of Springwood, N.C., started 15th and finished ninth.
Winner's sponsors: Bailes drove a Billy Hicks-owned Longhorn Chassis powered by a Vic Hill Racing Engine and sponsored by H&H Auto Sales and Hoosier Tire.
