What won the race: Outdueling the winner of Friday's opener Jake Neal, third-starting Tad Pospisil on Norfolk, Neb., rolled to his 29th career Malvern Bank Series in Saturday’s season finale at I-80 Speedway. Pospisil took his seventh series victory of the season ahead of Neal and Kyle Berck and clinched the championship in a race co-sanctioned by the sister Hoker Trucking Series.
Key notes: Pospisil won his 29th series victory. ... After Jake Neal outran Pospisil on Friday, Pospisil took the checkers 0.515 seconds ahead of Neal in Saturday's 30-lap finale to secure the Malvern Bank points title. … Bill Leighton Jr. started on the pole and led nine laps before Pospisil took over; Leighton finished fourth. ... Thirteen drivers completed 30 laps. ... The Malvern Bank and Hoker Trucking series closed out their seasons by co-hosting a two-race weekend at I-80 Speedway Friday and Saturday.
