What won the race: Logan Roberson of Waynesboro, Va., led all 30 laps from the pole en route to capturing Saturday's RUSH Crate Late Model Series Battle of the Bay feature at Winchester Speedway. His victory in the miniseries finale was worth $3,000.
Key notes: It was the second $3,000 payday of the weekend for Roberson, who also won Friday's stop at Potomac Speedway in Budds Creek, Md. ... Inheriting second-place on the lap-26 restart, Joe Martin of Mayport, Pa., claimed the runner-up position, 1.226 seconds back. ... Twelfth-starting Brady Wonderling of Scio, N.Y., completed the podium in third-place. ... After becoming the first female driver to earn fast-time honors in Winchester's history, Amanda Robinson of Georgetown, Del., finished one lap down in 13th place. ... Defending Winchester Crate Late Model champion Scott Sweeney Jr. also completed only 29 laps, finishing 15th. ... Jeremy Wonderling of Wellsville, N.Y., ran inside the top three but finished 16th after a lap-25 incident. ... Saturday's feature, the final round of the fourth annual Battle of the Bay, was slowed by three separate incidents, including a seven-minute red flag on lap 25; the feature lasted 30 minutes, with 10 competitors completing all 30 laps. ... Mike Franklin of Stephens City, Va., won the 10-lap non-qualifers' race worth $200. ... The miniseries, which saw one of its four scheduled races rained out (Thursday at Georgetown, Del.), carried a $3,000 points fund with $1,000 going to the top point earner.
