What won the race: Taking the lead on lap six John Ruggiero Jr. of Lincolnton, N.C., led the rest of the way to win Saturday's $7,500 22nd annual Turkey 100 feature at Swainsboro Raceway. Ruggiero Jr. also won Friday's $3,000 opener, giving him the weekend sweep and over $10,000 in total winnings along with his 17th feature victory of the year.
Key notes: Cody Overton of Evans, Ga., led the first five laps before being overtaken by Ruggiero and finished 1.960 seconds back. ... Jeremy Steele advanced four positions and finished third. ... Trey Mills ran as high as third before fading to finish fifth. ... Henry Carter gained 10 spots and finished sixth. ... Robbie Cowart advanced 11 spots and finished eighth. ... Saturday's feature, postponed from last weekend due to inclement weather, was slowed by seven cautions and lasted 36 minutes, with 10 drivers completing 50 laps. ...
