What won the race: Third-starting Aaron Marrant of Richmond, Mo., overtook polesitter Bill Leighton Jr. late in Saturday’s Malvern Bank Series opener at Central Missouri Speedway to claim his first career series victory. Taking the checkers ahead of Leighton and Tad Pospisil, Marrant pocketed $2,000.
