What won the race: Portsmouth, Ohio, transplant Robbie Bailey, now of Mooresville, N.C., outran Coty Tanquary to win Friday’s Charlie Blanton Memorial at Harris Speedway. Bailey pocketed $1,200 for winning the Blue Ridge Outlaw Late Models-sanctioned main event.
Key notes: Bailey became the tour’s fourth winner in four races this season. … Zach Cox was dropped to last in the finishing order after failing series droop rule requirements during postrace technical inspection. … Tommy Jones and Isaiah Manis scratched from the feature. … The second annual Charlie Blanton Memorial was the first of three scheduled visits to Harris for the Blue Ridge Outlaw Late Models this season.
