What won the race: Leading flag-to-flag, polesitter Dan Angelicchio of Greensburg, Pa., grabbed the $3,500 victory in the Ultimate Northeast Series-sanctioned Summer Sizzler 30 on Saturday night at Greater Cumberland Raceway. He took the checkers ahead of Jared Miley and Max Blair for his second career series win.
Key notes: With Angelicchio leading all 30 laps, second-starting Jared Miley edged ahead of Max Blair following a caution on lap 13 to rebound to finish second. ... The Ultimate Northeast Series visited Greater Cumberland Raceway Saturday night for the tour’s third race of the season. … The event’s winning purse was bumped from $3,000 to $3,500
