Andy Haus races to victory at Selinsgrove Speedway.
What won the race: Andy Haus of Hamburg, Pa., raced to his first victory of the season with a flag-to-flag performance in Saturday's Jeff's Auto Body Summer Championship feature at Selinsgrove Speedway. The unsanctioned victory earned Haus a $3,000 payday at the half-mile oval.
Key notes: Haus took command on the race's initial start and led every lap to take the win ahead of runner-up Jeff Rine. … A caution with 10 laps remaining erased Haus' 2.056 second lead, but he pulled away from Rine in the closing laps to secure the win by 1.455 seconds. ... Second-starting Tim Wilson moved to challenge Haus when the leaders caught traffic early in the race, but a caution slowed his charge and gave Haus clear track ahead of him. ... Wilson gave up the second spot to Rine on the ensuing restart and was no more a factor in sliding back to sixth at the finish. ... The race was halted on the initial start when eight cars connected in turn two.
On the move: Hometown driver Dylan Yoder started ninth and finished third.
Winner's sponsors: Haus' Rocket Chassis carries sponsorship from Fastener Place Inc., CKC Trucking, Weakencht Archery, Buck Rubs and Coal Sales.
Points chase: Runner-up Jeff Rine extended his lead of Jim Yoder in the track's Super Late Model points standings.
Polesitter: Andy Haus
Heat race winners: Tim Wilson, Brett Schadel, Kyle Knapp
