What won the race: Becoming the tour's first repeat winner of 2020, Matthew Nance of Roaring River, N.C., advanced from the sixth starting spot to win Saturday night's Blue Ridge Outlaw Late Model Series event at Friendship Motor Speedway.
Key notes: Nance, who also won the tour's opener at Ararat (Va.) Thunder Raceway in June, topped Daniel Baggerly of Kernersville, N.C., and Daniel Tucker of Greensboro, N.C., at the finish of Saturday's 25-lap feature. ... Nance was an 11-time winner on the tour in 2019.
