Dan Smith swept Oberlin Speedway's doubleheader weekend.
What won the race: Dan Smith of Beloit, Kan., completed a sweep of Oberlin Speedway's Bob Salem Memorial weekend with a second $1,000 victory in Saturday's High Plains Late Model Series event. Smith also claimed Friday's $1,000 event for at the 3/8-mile oval.
Key notes: Cody Cantonwine scratched from the feature. ... Oberlin Speedway hosted one of its biggest race weekends ever with the two-day Bob Salem Memorial. The event featured $1,000-to-win events for the High Plains Late Model Series both Friday night and Saturday, as well as features each night for the United Rebel Sprint Series. ... The doubleheader weekend was the Colorado-based tour's first-ever visit to Oberlin's 3/8-mile oval and its first-ever foray into Kansas.
