What won the race: Jadon Frame of Winchester, Tenn., took the lead on lap 26 of Saturday night's Topless Outlaws Series feature at Mountain View Raceway and paced the final 15 circuits to earn $3,000 for the first series victory of his career.
Key notes: Frame resisted a hard charging Jesse Lowe of Crossville, Tenn., in the closing laps, winning by 0.713 seconds. ... Chase King of Seymour, Tenn., started on the pole and led 25 laps, but his car had mechanical problems, handing the lead to Frame. ... King was unable to continue and finished 14th. ... Ruben Mayfield cross the line third but was disqualified for being 15 pounds light. ... Following his first series victory at Tri-County Racetrack in Brasstown, N.C., on Sept. 19, Hall of Famer Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, Tenn., was involved in several incidents and finished 16th. ... After taking five attempts at the initial start, Saturday's feature was slowed by eight caution flags and lasted over 45 minutes. ... Nine drivers completed 40 laps. ...
