What won the race: Polesitter Cole Wells of Crane, Mo., raced to his seventh Dirt Track Bank Cash Money Super Dirt Series victory of the season Friday night at Tri-State Speedway, earning a $1,000 victory in the first leg of the tour's season-ending doubleheader weekend.
Key notes: Wells's victory at Tri-State gives him seven wins in 17 series events this season. He entered the year with one career series victory. ... The series wraps up its third season with a visit to Springfield (Mo.) Speedway on Saturday.
