What won the race: Collecting his fifth Red Clay Series win of the season, Booger Brooks of Chattanooga, Tenn., cruised to the $1,500 victory in Saturday night's series finale at Senoia Raceway. He took the checkers 5.450 seconds ahead of Wiley McDaniel.
Key notes: Other than a mid-race rally from a charging Dustin Deim, Brooks ran the majority of the 40-lapper uncontested. … Saturday's Red Clay Series finale was the tour’s second visit to Senoia this season. … The race was originally set for Oct. 24 but rained out. … The series was on the undercard of the $10,000-to-win Schaeffer’s Fall Nationals season finale.
