What won the race: Scoring a flag-to-flag victory in a dramatic finish, second-starting Randy Weaver of Crossville, Tenn., turned back Donald McIntosh's high-side challenge amid traffic on the final circuit of Saturday's 40-lap Cabin Fever feature at Boyd's Speedway to earn $4,000 for his second victory in the popular early-season event.

Quotable: “I’ve been fortunate enough to win a few big races and always the first one in my trophy case is a Boyd’s race (I won) on a Tuesday night," said Weaver. "It’s the last race my dad was alive and was here with me, so this place will always be special. I love the track and I love the atmosphere. There’s big things to come here.”

Key notes: Weaver led from the onset, but McIntosh of Dawsonville, Ga., caught him with two laps remaining amidst slower traffic. McIntosh drove to the outside of the leader entering turn three, but Weaver beat him to the finish by a half second. … Weaver won his first-ever Valvoline Iron-Man Series feature and his second career Cabin Fever main event. His first Cabin Fever victory was in 2012. … Christian Hanger of Winchester, Tenn., started from the pole, but was sent to the rear of the 22-car field before a lap was complete when he spun exiting turn two on the second attempted start. … Feeling as though the spin was a result of contact from Weaver, after completing the race, Hanger caught Weaver on the cool-down lap and hit him from behind, lifting Weaver’s car up and spinning him around as the winner tried to exit the track in turn one. … John Ownbey of Cleveland, Tenn., the 2020 Cabin Fever winner, finished third. … Twelve cars completed 40 laps. … This was a non-points event. … Weaver joined runner-up McIntosh, third-place John Ownbey of Cleveland, Tenn., track promoter Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, Tenn., and Hall-of-Famer Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, Tenn., as a two-time Cabin Fever winner. … Eli Beets of Knoxville, Tenn., won the Crate Late Model feature.
