Carson Ferguson reached victory lane on Princeton, W.Va.
What won the race: Taking the lead after polesitter Tyler Arrington's spin, fellow front-row starter Carson Ferguson of Concord, N.C., grabbed Friday's $3,000 American All-Star Series victory at Princeton Speedway. He finished 2.238 seconds ahead of Henry Hornsby III in the 40-lapper while Logan Roberson finished third.
Key notes: Fast qualifier Tyler Arrington of Lebanon, Va., was leading on the 17th lap when he spun in trying to avoid a collision swith a slower car; he finished 11th. ... Ferguson inherited the lead and led the rest of the way. ... Series points leader Logan Roberson of Waynesboro, Va., led the first lap but settled for third. ... Seventeen drivers completed 40 laps. … Ferguson can earn a $500 bonus is he can win Saturday's series event at Mountain Motorsports Park in Isom, Ky.
