What won the race: Second-starting Spencer Hughes of Meridian, Miss., utilized a lap-26 restart to take the lead and paced the final 14 laps to earn his second straight Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series victory. Saturday's Jackson Motor Speedway paid $3,000 and followed Friday’s victory in Hattiesburg.
Quotable: "Really great track, I know all the guys work real hard to give us a good race track and it definitely paid off. I thought it was going to be around the bottom at the beginning of the race and that's kinda what we look for, but I guess I was able to find just a little bit there on the top, to get by Michael on that last restart. He raced me clean the last two nights we've been racing up here together, just thank you all. I just really wasn't any good on the bottom there and Michael got out ahead of me. I would just hang so bad off two over there, I knew I couldn't keep doing that or I might fall back to third or fourth. Absolutely, it was a great race".
