What won the race: Chad Finley of Lansing, Mich., charged from his 12th starting position to win Saturday's Allstar Performance Challenge miniseries event at Merritt Speedway, earning $5,000. Finley took the lead from Mike Vandermark on the 13th lap.
Key notes: Dona Marcoullier of Houghton Lake, Mich., took the runner-up position, 1.210 seconds behind Finley. ... Winner of a $3,000 feature at Merritt Speedway on May 1, Brandon Thirlby of Traverse City, Mich., finished ninth. ... After winning Friday's $5,000 weekend miniseries opener at Tri-City Motor Speedway in Auburn, Mich., Eric Spangler of Lake City, Mich., was disqualified and credited with finishing 26th. ...
