What won the race: Third-starting Joseph Joiner of Milton, Fla., took the lead on lap 12 and pulled away the rest of Saturday's 60-lapper to capture the Crate Racin' USA Harvey Jones Memorial at All-Tech Raceway. Joiner won by a near half-track margin in pocketing $10,000.
Quotable: “Any time you win it’s special, but to win a $10,000 check in my home state with a lot of friends and family there really meant a lot," Joiner said in a team release. During the 1995 season at 72 years old, he won nine features and the Late Model Sportsman track championship at Gulf Coast Speedway in Wewahitchka, Fla. ...
