What won the race: Tyler Erb of New Waverly, Texas, threaded the needle between lapped cars after overtaking Billy Moyer Jr. exiting turn four on the 13th lap and led the rest of Sunday’s 4B4EVER 40 at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex. Erb earned $10,000 in the unsanctioned event honoring late Kentucky driver and former Brushcreek star Jackie Boggs.
Key notes: A lucky fan, David Thomas, won a Harley-Davidson for being matched with the victorious Erb. ... Erb notched his seventh victory of the season, using the No. 46 Cole Trickle lookalike car (the weekend's West Virginia Motor Speedway events encouraged drivers to use throwback schemes). ... The 4B4EVER 40 was originally set for April 24 as a World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series event, but when it rained out, the track rescheduled the race as an unsanctioned event.
