What won the race: Chad Thrash of Meridian, Miss., emerged victorious in Saturday night's 40-lap Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series feature at ECM Speedway. He beat Jadon Frame to the finish line for the $3,000 top prize.
Key notes: The race's polesitter, Thrash ceded the lead to Frame on lap 36 but regained it on the final circuit. ... Thrash registered his first MSCCS victory of 2021 and the 21st of his career. ... Third-place finisher Austin Franklin is the nephew of Billy Franklin, the reigning Southern All Star Series who won his first-ever MSCCS feature when the tour visited ECM for the first time this season on May 8. Billy finished fourth in Saturday's A-main.
