Nick Beyenhof cradles his hardware at Fairmont Raceway.
What won the race: Outside front-row starter Nick Beyenhof of Rock Rapids, Iowa, led all 20 laps Saturday at Fairmont Raceway for his second Repairable Vehicles.com Tri-State Series victory of the season. He earned $1,500 in taking the checkers 1.760 seconds ahead of series points leader Justin Zeitner.
Key notes: Nick Beyenhof scored his eighth career series victory and second in the last three tour races. ... Nine driver completed 20 laps. ... Reigning series champ Blair Nothdurft of Renner, S.D., was a no-show at Fairmont after a rollover accident at Huset's; he wasn't injured but his car suffered major damage. ...
