What won the race: Outrunning fast qualifier and polesitter Mike Chasteen Jr., second-starting Ryan Unzicker of El Paso, Ill., grabbed the $3,000 Midwest Big 10 Series victory in Saturday’s DIRTcar Fall Nationals at Lincoln Speedway. He finished 2.486 seconds ahead of Chasteen Jr.
Key notes: Unizcker, who trekked from Sycamore Speedway after the Lucas Oil MLRA finale on Saturday rained out, went from ninth-to-first in his heat after missing out on time trials. … Lincoln Speedway hosted the DIRTcar Fall Nationals for the second consecutive season as the sanctioning body wraps up its final weekend of national points.
