What won the race: Polesitter Jason Covert of York Haven, Pa., raced to a 35-lap Larry Hills Memorial victory Saturday at Potomac Speedway for a $5,000 winning purse in an unsanctioned Super Late Model special. Covert picked up an additional $1,315 in bonus money in his 18th career Potomac victory.
Key notes: Runner-up Jamie Lathroum led the first five laps before Covert took command and cruised the rest of the way. ... Covert notched his fifth and richest victory of the season. ...
