What won the race: Crate Racin' USA Series point leader Jimmy Thomas of Phenix City, Ala., led all 50 laps from the outside front-row at Tri-County Speedway on Saturday, winning $3,000. This is Thomas' third series victory and eighth top-five finish of the season.
Key notes: Stephen Brantley of Monroeville, Ala., finished in the runner-up position, 1.107 seconds behind Thomas. ... After winning $2,500 at Tri-County on Friday, polesitter Tanner Collins of Franklin, Ga., faded to finish fourth. ... Saturday's feature, part of a two-night visit that was originally set for May, was slowed by four separate incidents and lasted 25 minutes, with 11 competitors completing all 50 laps. ... The last caution flag flew on lap 12, before the final 38 circuits were completed consecutively, without further incident.
