What won the race: Winning a late-race battle over Gene Knaub and Mike Maresca, Donald Lingo Jr. of Millsboro, Del., raced to the $5,000 Delaware State Dirt Track Championship victory on Saturday night at Delaware International Speedway. He finished 0.637 seconds ahead of a late-charging Maresca.
Key notes: Lingo competing with broken left wrist; he broke it while working in his race shop and underwent surgery three weeks earlier. ...
