What won the race: Dillon Brown of Gaffney, S.C., led all 50 laps at Wythe Raceway to win Sunday's night two of the Mayhem in the Mountains with the American All-Star Series presented by PPM. The Palmetto State invader swept the night, earning a $5,000 payday by a margin of 1.448 seconds over Jeremy Steele of York, S.C.
Quotable: "I was just really comfortable," Brown said. "It didn't matter if I needed to go high, low, wide open ... whatever I needed to do in the cockpit, I was just so maneuverable."
Key notes: Brown led flag-to-flag for his first ACAS victory of the season. ... The third-starting Steele took the second spot on lap two and settled there for the remainder of the distance for a runner-up finish. ... Twelve starters completed all 50 laps. ...
