What won the race: Ross Bailes of Clover, S.C., led all 40 laps at Cherokee Speedway to earn a $7,500 payday in the Ultimate Super Late Model Series-sanctioned Mike Butler Memorial.

It's his birthday. And that's my little boy, my little son Jordan. I wish my wife was here, to, but they had to leave early.”
