What won the race: Jimmy Mars of Menomonie, Wis., led all 45 laps from the pole at Cedar Lake Speedway on Saturday, topping the track's NASCAR Late Model field for his second consecutive Masters victory and $10,000.
Key notes: Fourth-starting Cole Searing of Huron, S.D., moved into second place by lap 19 and remained within striking distance of Mars, but settled for the runner-up position, 0.435 seconds back. ... Shane Edginton of Winnipeg, Manitoba, slipped back to finish third. ... Seventh-starting Justin Ritchie of New London, Wis., advanced three positions by lap 25 and finished fourth. ... Pat Doar moved into fifth on the last lap and completed the top-five at his home track. ... After winning $5,000 in Friday's preliminary event, Chad Mahder of Bloomer, Wis., finished 13th. ...
