Key notes: After moving into second on lap 27, Bill Leighton Jr. of Omaha, Neb., gave Zeitner all he could handle on a late-race restart but settled for the runner-up position, 0.617 of a second behind. ... Jesse Sobbing moved into second place on a lap-17 restart and applied pressure to Zeitner for the lead until tapping the wall and fading to finish third. ... Kyle Berck, the lone multi-time series winner at Shelby County, led the first 15 laps before fading to finish fourth. ... Tad Pospisil moved into fifth place before the race's final caution on lap 28 and finished there. ... Seventeenth-starting Andrew Kosiski advanced 10 positions and finished seventh. ... Jake Neal ran as high as second in the early laps before fading to finish ninth. ... Polesitter Brian Kosiski faded from the start and finished 13th. ... Saturday's feature, the tour's 10th visit to Shelby County, was slowed by three cautions and lasted 16 minutes; 17 competitors completed all 30 laps.
On the move: Bill Leighton Jr. of Omaha, Neb., started 12th and finished second.
