Devin Moran celebrates his victory at Sharon Speedway.
What won the race: Racing weather throughout the night, Devin Moran of Dresden, Ohio, utilized the low-line at Sharon Speedway and cruised to win Saturday's $10,000 Battle at the Border feature. With the skies beginning to open in victory lane, Moran was awarded his ninth career World of Outlaws Case Late Models Series feature win.
Quotable: "This Tye Twarog Racing Longhorn was badass man," Moran said. "This is about the best I've felt since Florida. To come here and win in my home state, I love coming here, but I've only raced here about three or four times and they do a great job with the track, it got a little bottom-dominant, but that was a lot of fun."
Key notes: After leading the first 10 laps from the pole, Ryan Gustin of Marshalltown, Iowa, settled for the runner-up position, 1.440 seconds back. ... Following his $10,000 victory at Williams Grove on Friday, Shane Clanton of Zebulon, Ga., finished third. ... Series point leader Dennis Erb Jr., of Carpentersville, Ill., finished fourth. ... Mason Zeigler of Chalk Hill, Pa., rolled out his backup car after suffering transmission trouble during his second qualifying lap and advanced five positions to finish eighth. ... After overcoming his own transmission trouble in qualifying and originally scheduled to start the feature in eighth, Ashton Winger of Hampton, Ga., was forced to start at the rear of the field after changing a flat right-rear tire suffered during pace laps and retired after 23 laps, finishing 20th. ... Saturday's feature was slowed by only one caution on lap 25 when Brent Larson of Lake Elmo, Minn., spun in turn one and lasted 17 minutes, with 14 competitors completing all 40 laps.
On the move: Overcoming a late arrival due to problems with his race hauler, Steve Casebolt of Richmond, Ind., started 12th and finished sixth.
