Turk Letizia enjoys his first victory lane visit with the Dirt Kings.
What won the race: Second-starting Turk Letizia of Milwaukee, Wis., took the lead for good on lap 20 and paced the final 11 circuits en route to earning his first career Wabam Dirt Kings Tour feature victory at Plymouth Dirt Track on Friday, collecting $1,250. Letizia led three separate times for a total of 28 laps.
Key notes: Nick Anvelink of Bonduel, Wis., took the runner-up position, 1.124 seconds back. ... Taylor Scheffler of Waukesha, Wis., led lap 15 and lap 19 before getting passed on the final lap and finishing third. ... Scheffler and Letizia had four lead changes amongst themselves. ... Ninth-starting Charlie Schmidt of Cedar Grove, Wis., advanced five positions and finished fourth. ... Jayme Zidar of Greenfield, Wis., and Joe Bongiorno of Milwaukee, Wis., also advanced five positions each, finishing eighth and ninth, respectively. ...
