What won the race: Second-starting Tyler Bare of Rockbridge Baths, Va., led all the way Saturday at Beckley Motor Speedway to capture the Back the Blue 76 and a $10,000 payday on the American Crate All-Star Series.
Key notes: Polesitter Zack Dohm of Cross Lanes, W.Va., ran second all the way in finishing 2.786 seconds behind winner Tyler Bare. ... Fifth-starting Logan Roberson of Waynesboro, Va., moved into third place by lap 16 and finished there. ... After topping the All-Stars field for $10,000 at Beckley last year, Dillon Brown of Gaffney, S.C., finished fifth. ... Series point leader and six-time feature winner this year, Hayden Cardwell of Knoxville, Tenn., finished seventh. ... After winning Friday's $5,000 weekend opener at Natural Bridge (Va.) Speedway, Cody Overton of Evans, Ga., advanced eight positions and finished eighth. ... Saturday's feature, originally scheduled for Aug. 6 but postponed by inclement weather, was slowed by two cautions and lasted 25 minutes, with 16 competitors completing 76 laps. ... Saturday's feature will serve as the final race of Labor Day weekend, for the American Crate All-Star Series, as Sunday's finale at Wythe (Va.) Raceway was canceled due to inclement weather.
