What won the race: Chad Finley of Lansing, Mich., executed a last-lap pass on race-long leader Dona Marcoullier, nipping him at the line by 0.340 of a second to win Saturday's Rolling Thunder feature at Thunderbird Raceway, earning $4,000. Finley captured his second Allstar Performance Challenge Series victory in eight days after winning Sept. 2 at Tri-City Motor Speedway in Auburn, Mich.
Key notes: After leading the first 39 laps, Marcoullier of Houghton Lake, Mich., settled for the runner-up position. ... Winner of the inaugural Allstar Performance Challenge Series visit to Thunderbird on June 18, Greg Gokey of Buckland, Mich., finished third. ...
