Tyler Bare earned $10,000 in the series finale at Fayetteville.
What won the race: Eleventh-starting Tyler Bare of Rockbridge Baths, Va., worked his way to the lead on lap 54 and never looked back Saturday, winning the $10,000 eighth annual Cash Money 100 feature at Fayetteville Motor Speedway. It was his second victory with the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series.
Quotable: “Man this thing was perfect tonight, we were good from the time we unloaded then at the break I knew we were in good shape” Bare said. “My dad has helped me learn how to race these long races and race in the black and tonight that was a big help. Daulton (Wilson) came up beside me after I passed him and told me my tires were in good shape and I appreciate that, that’s the kind of stuff a professional does, I owe him one.”
Key notes: Last week's series winner at County Line (N.C.) Raceway, Michael Rouse of Wilson, N.C., led the first 12 laps and finished 0.546 of a second back. ...
