Madden led the first 81 laps from the pole, before pitting to change tires and rallied to earn his 12th career Carolina Clash tour victory. Madden also earned his second five-figure payday of the year at Cherokee after winning March’s $10,000 Southern All Star Dirt Series stop there.
Quotable: "I didn't know if I was gonna have enough laps left there at the end, I was gonna try to go all the way and then we seen that we had a little more tire wear than we normally have," an emotional Madden said. "My family is here, I got both of my sons here today. They hadn't seen one in eight years, so what a day."
