Justin Zeitner heads for a $3,000 victory at Junction Motor Speedway.
What won the race: Inheriting the lead on lap four when race-long leader Dylan Sillman hit the wall, polesitter Justin Zeitner of Malvern, Iowa, led the final 22 laps at Junction Motor Speedway, winning Saturday's $3,000 Malvern Bank Series feature. Zeitner notched his second series victory of the season and the ninth of his career, moving him into a tie with Jesse Sobbing for fourth on the tour's all-time victories list.
Quotable: “It was wild, it was get up on the wheel and usually that’s how I like it, man I must be getting old, cause I think I want it slow and slick, that was rough on me,” Zeitner said. “Luckily they haven’t taken away our stick guys yet, I’m sure that’s coming, Mitch and Josh were down there giving me ‘hey don’t mess this up, you’ll be alright’ (sign), so I kinda slowed down a little bit (in the closing laps) and was trying not to crash and got it done finally.”

After winning Friday's $3,000 weekend opener at Beatrice, Andrew Kosiski could only rebound to finish 13th following a lap-five spin. ... Saturday's feature, the finale of a Nebraska state doubleheader, was slowed by six cautions and lasted 17 minutes, with 11 drivers completing all 25 laps. … Malvern Bank Series competitors return Aug. 12 for another $3,000-to-win stop at Junction Motor Speedway.
