What won the race: Grabbing the lead for good on lap 12, sixth-starting Chad Simpson of Mount Vernon, Iowa, led the rest of Friday’s Hoker Trucking Series stop at Fayette County Speedway to secure his first series victory. Simpson swapped the lead with pole-starting Luke Goedert laps 9-11 before taking control and racing to a 5.179-second margin of victory over Jeff Aikey.
