Fifth-running Jose Parga hit the turn-two wall hard and pulled off after drawing the caution. Jeff Larson led lap five and finished 1.705 seconds behind Schlenk. Austin Vincent led the first four laps before fading to finish third. Shannon Babb led green-to-checkered to win the fourth and final heat race.
