Peterson secured his third career Northern LateModel Racing Association victory, all of them coming this season.

Quotable: “They farmed (the outside line) before the race and they were up there, I saw those guys kinda sliding around, so I knew it wasn’t quite ready to run yet,” Peterson said. “Then we ran a few laps and the crumbs got up there and probably absorbed some of the moisture and then I felt it out under caution and I’m like ‘that bad boy is ready for me,’ so we sent it on the restart and she stuck pretty good out there.”
