A heavy rainstorm hits Tri-City shortly after Friday's qualifying session.
Key notes: Shortly after qualifying was completed, a heavy rain storm hit the Granite City, Ill., oval, including dangerous lightning and hail. With additional inclement weather inbound, Lucas Oil Series officials have cancelled Friday's $12,000-to-win NAPA Know How 50. There has been no potential reschedule or makeup date yet announced. ... The series intends to conclude its weekend doubleheader with Saturday's $15,000-to-win Diamond Nationals event at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo.
