What won the race: Second-starting Josh Rice of Verona, Ky., went unchallenged to lead all 40 laps in Friday's commanding $6,000 victory in the third annual Dustbuster 40 at Moler Raceway Park. Rice secured his second event win after topping the inaugural Dustbuster and collected his fourth overall feature triumph at MRP, collecting more than $16,000 there since 2021.

Key notes: World of Outlaws regular Nick Hoffman moved into the runner-up position on lap 15 and trailed Rice the rest of the way, finishing 1.789 seconds back. ... After a back-and-forth battle for several laps, sixth-starting Zack Dohm prevailed to finish third while defending event winner R.J. Conley settled for fourth. ... Tenth-starting Michael Chilton advanced five positions and finished fifth. ... Pole-starting Jesse Lay never contended and faded to finish seventh. ...
