Brad Seng captured his first NLRA feature victory.
What won the race: Second-starting John Seng of Grand Forks, N.D., took the lead from his father Brad Seng on lap 20 and paced the final six circuits at Devils Lake Speedway to capture his first Northern LateModel Racing Association feature. Son took the checkers 1.110 seconds ahead of dad.
Key notes: Fourth-starting Brad Seng, the series all-time winningest driver settled for second after leading laps 17-19. ... Sixth-starting Shane Edginton moved into third on lap 24 and completed the podium. ... Two-time and reigning series champion, eighth-starting Mike Greseth moved into fifth on the final lap. ... After winning Friday's $1,250 weekend opener at River Cities Speedway, pole-starting Dustin Strand led the first 16 laps before fading to finish sixth. ... Saturday's feature, the 32nd NLRA stop at Devils Lake, was slowed by two cautions and lasted 13 minutes, with 16 competitors completing 25 laps; 19 drivers still running at the finish. … NLRA returns to Devils Lake on Aug. 19.
