What won the race: After fading at the initial start, polesitter Gray Parton of Rutherfordton, N.C., took command on lap three and never looked back en route to winning Saturday's $4,000 Dedmon Family Tribute at Harris Speedway. Parton pocketed the biggest victory of his career and his first with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series.
Key notes: Series points leader and third-starting Ben Watkins moved into the runner-up position on lap 10 before trailing Parton the rest of the way, finishing 0.694 of a second back. ...
