"That cushion was pretty narrow," Wenger said after leading 30 laps from the pole position for a $3,500 FALS Cup victory, his first of the season. "I felt like I had a right rear tire going down, but I thought it was in my head. The tire is already sitting on the rim. I am just happy we could hold on for that one. It's been a tough start to the season, but if you are going to get hot, July is the time." ... The event drew 28 entries.
