Hogge grabs fifth Western Allstars victory of season

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (July 26) — Bobby Hogge IV of Salinas, Calif., won at Bakersfield Speedway for his fifth Western Allstars DIRTcar Late Model Series of the season. Hogge, who started fifth, earned $2,000 for the victory. Second-row starters Mike Johnson of Lompoc, Calif., and hometown driver Brad Pounds were second and third across the finish line. Polesitter Chris Shannon of Merced, Calif., ended up fourth.
