Andrews earns $3,000 for his third Eckl Memorial win

EAST SMETHPORT, Pa. (July 31) — Todd Andrews of Eldred, Pa., earned $3,000 for his victory in the fourth annual Stephanie Eckl Memorial at McKean County Raceway. His third career victory on the Northern Tier United Late Model Series — all coming in the Eckl Memorial — guarantees him a starting spot in the next two series events. Mike Knight of Ripley, N.Y., was second followed by Greg Oakes of Franklinville, N.Y., Dick Barton of Ashville, N.Y., and Bob Close of Eldred. The race is run in honor of the late daughter of Greg Eckl, a member Close's race team.
